Register for Play4aTeam
 
1. From any page on the Play4ateam.com website click on the 'Register' button found on the right of your screen or the register link in the top right hand corner.


 
2. Complete the simple form being as accurate as possible with the information you are providing. You can also upload a photo and image at this stage. Click submit and Play4ateam.com will email you a confirmation link to become a registered user of this site.


 
3. Check your email (including any filtered folders) for a link back to the Play4ateam.com website. When it arrives simply click the link and enter your password and verification code where asked.


 
4. You will then arrive back at the Play4ateam.com home page but as a logged in user.
 
5. Start registering a team, searching for a team, contacting players or using one of the other networking tools around the site.
 
 
Find a team.
 
1. You can search the Play4ateam.com website for a team or club without being registered or logged in. You must be registered and logged in to contact a team or club.
Simply use the 'Quick search for a team' facility on the homepage or the 'Find a Team or Club' link in the top menu to be taken to the search module of the Play4ateam.com website.


 
2. Use the filters to search for a team or club in your area. The more filters you use the more specific your search results will be. If you find no results use less filtering.


 
3. After hitting the search button you will be presented with a list of Teams that matched your search criteria. Click on any team to visit that team's page.


 
4. Within the team's homepage you can find its location, ability, gender, plus many other details. To contact the team you must first be logged into the Play4ateam.com website.


 
5. As a logged in user you will be able to contact a team's or club's manager. 
 
 
Find a player or playing partner.
 
1.  You can search the Play4ateam.com website to find a player or playing partner without being registered or logged in. You must be registered and logged in to contact a player or playing partner.
Simply use the 'Quick search for a player' facility on the homepage or the 'Find a Player' link in the top menu to be taken to the search module of the Play4ateam.com website.


 
2. Use the filters to search for a player or playing partner in your area. The more filters you use the more specific your search results will be. If you find no results use less filtering.
 

 
3. After hitting the search button you will be presented with a list of players or playing partners that matched your search criteria. Click on a player to visit the their Play4ateam.com home page.
If you don't find the person your looking for try broadening your search criteria or adding your own details to the site for others to find you or your club.


 
4. Within the player's homepage you can see some of their personal information and the sports they are interested in. To contact the player you must first be logged into the Play4ateam.com website.
 
 
Quick search
 
1. From the home page choose some simple filters in the quick search boxes to quickly bring up a list of suitable teams or players.


 
2. Click on a team or player name to go to their home page
 
 
Using your home page.
 
1. When logged in click on the 'Go to your homepage' button on the right of the Play4ateam.com website or click on your username in the top right hand corner. 


 
These links will take you to your homepage.


 
2. Your home page provides you with the links you need to fully use the P4AT website, including links to your teams, your availability for games, Sporting details and of course your personal details. To change your personal details click the link within the module.


 
3. 'Your teams' list provides links to your teams, as either a player or manager.


 
4. If invited to play in a fixture you will have to confirm your availability in the 'confirm availability' module. You can always amend this if your plans change. 


 
5. Add and remove sports in your sporting detail module. 

 
*If a user is looking for a new player you will only appear in their search results if you have the 'Let people search for me' box checked*
 
 
Registering a team
 
1. To register your team on the Play4ateam.com website you must first be logged in.


 
2. Once logged in click in the 'register a team' link on the right of the website.
 
3. Complete the team information form as accurately as possible. The more information provided the more likely you will attract new members. You can also provide a current link to one of your team's clips on Youtube plus add you team logo and a current photo.


 
4. Add peoples email addresses into the 'Invite players to join this team' module so they receive an invitation to join as soon as you register your team.


 
5. Once you are happy that all the information is correct press submit to add your team into the Play4ateam.com database. 
You will be taken back to your user homepage where your new team will be in 'Your Teams' list.
 
 
Inviting players to join your team
 

 
1. When you first register your team you can invite existing team members to join the Play4ateam site so that you can easily arrange fixtures and they can confirm their availability.
 

 
2. Select the Edit Team/Add Fixture on your home page for the team you wish to invite players to join and simply fill in your players' email addresses into the 'Invite players to join this team' module and they will be sent an email invite to join that team.
 
 
Managing your team
 
1. Click on the manager's link in your teams list to edit your team or add a fixture.


 
2. Edit team info. Like registering, here you can edit your general team information, add honours and history details and change your team photo/image and Youtube link.


 
3. See who in your squad has confirmed their availability in the team members module.
 
4. Invite your players to join. Simply add their email addresses in separated by pressing return. Type a short note and press send to send out your invitation.


 
5. Changing the responsibility of being team manager is easy; simply choose another player from the drop down list in the 'Change manager' module. 
They will be sent an automated email confirming that they now have control of the team page.
 
 
Adding a fixture/match/event.
 
1. As team manager you can add a fixture to your team's calendar. Log in and select the team from your team list that you want to add the fixture for.


 
2. In the edit team fixtures module fill out the form below the calendar, making sure the information is accurate and in the correct format. Detailed addresses will help pinpoint the venue on the map module on the team page.


 
3. Check 'confirm availability' if you wish to let your team members know about this new fixture.
 
4. You can send a copy of the fixture  information to your opposition's manager by entering their email address at the bottom of the form.


 
5. Pressing 'submit' will add your new fixture to your team calendar. 
If chosen your players and oppositions manager will receive all the necessary details of the coming event via email, and players will be asked to confirm their availability.
